GOOD QUALITY & BRAND. UNHAMPERED LAPTOP USE, April 12, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: LAPTOP STAND Black I have a lap loving dog. I am a lap dog lover. Every time I sit, within seconds she is on my lap. This makes using a laptop close to impossible.
I saw this cart in a catalog for $150 and started searching for a better, more reasonable, price. Obviously I found that price here at Amazon. After reading lousy reviews on the other brands of laptop carts I spent the extra $10. for a better (based on review) cart. Well, it sure was worth it.
This stand was very well packed, so simple to put together I most likely could have given it to my seven year old pseudo-grandson to assemble and it's far sturdier than the others described. I have been using it for months and have absolutely no complaint.
The cart easily holds a 17" laptop, mouse pad, mouse and more; sets up for right or left hand mouse use; easily raises and lowers with a height range of chair to standing; nothing falls off due to the raised edges on both ends and it rolls everywhere. It also looks... Read more

Too tall for my armchair and unwieldy, April 24, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: LAPTOP STAND Black Even with the wheels off, the table is too tall to use with my armchair. The base is large and unwieldy and was also too tall for under my armchair. With the wheels off, I have lost all reasonable portability. Other than that, it seems to be an attractive piece of furniture. It went together well. If only I could still use the wheels and use it as I had intended. Even so, it's better than having the laptop sit in my lap.
