we have pleased to offer you to Wilson Jones Premium Single-Touch Locking D-Ring View Binder, 1 Inch Capacity, Letter Size, White (W86610) Reviews
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful Will not accomodate sheet protectors, December 15, 2011 By This review is from: Wilson Jones Premium Single-Touch Locking D-Ring View Binder, 1 Inch Capacity, Letter Size, White (W86610) (Office Product) Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program ( What's this?) The first thing I did upon receiving this Wilson Jones Premium Binder is insert a few of my favorite and necessary sheet protectors. I was disappointed that the WJ binder does NOT accommodate them. The longer aspect of the metal D-ring causes the protectors to stick out of the side of the binder by 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch - not at all good for important documents.
Plus, if there are only a few protectors in the binder, they tilt out the bottom if you hold the binder upright (as you would need to when placing the binder on a bookshelf or other flat surface). NOT GOOD.
In its favor, however, are the facts that this is PVC free, claims not to transfer inks and print from your documents onto the inside surface of the binder, and the corners are rounded off (which may improve shelf wear).
But this WJ Binder will never replace my favorite, which is... Read more
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful Nice locking clip, but wear easily., December 11, 2011 By This review is from: Wilson Jones Premium Single-Touch Locking D-Ring View Binder, 1 Inch Capacity, Letter Size, White (W86610) (Office Product) Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program ( What's this?) I love the D-ring feature. It keeps paper from bunching up and getting that hump that often comes with binders if you don't move every page over before closing the binder. It's pretty hard to close the binder if the pages are not totally lined up, so it makes the hump all but impossible to achieve - SUPER! The cover also got wet, but because the water didn't get under the plastic outer sleeve, everything inside was fine. What I don't like is that after what I consider normal use - putting the binder in a bag and taking it out - the cover is showing obvious wear. It looks like the outer plastic cover / sleeve may pull back in a few more uses / replacements. If this is going to sit on a shelf or not be rubbed up against other binders / books, this will probably not be an issue for you, but if you're using it for college or something, you may want to find one that's more rugged.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful Hey...it's a binder, and an expensive one at that., December 5, 2011 By This review is from: Wilson Jones Premium Single-Touch Locking D-Ring View Binder, 1 Inch Capacity, Letter Size, White (W86610) (Office Product) Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program ( What's this?) What else can one say about this binder other than it's a binder. It does its job. It's claim to fame is that it has a single touch ring trigger that opens with ease. And yes, it does and it works well. It also has pockets on both flaps that are a nice touch.
But at a list price of $12, I don't know that it is worth the added cost. Unless you really, really struggle with opening the rings, I wouldn't recommend paying the premium price for this product.
