It would be great for a typewriter, but I needed it for a heavier piece of equipment for our graphics office.
Part of the wood split while being put together, so my husband had to buy "L" brackets to reinforce it to ensure it can support the weight of the equipment.

for the cost. I had a little trouble getting it - first time was shipped an incorrect item and it was also damaged upon receipt. Notified the company and they sent a return label and then shipped me the correct item
which arrived in good condition. All in all I am very happy with this purchase.
