Sturdy & stylish for my 9 year old son . . . nice buy & bought after the start of the school year so got a great price!

It is the perfect size for my 11-year old. The main pocket is big enough for his 2" binder and a few school books. The large pocket on the front was a nice surprise - he puts his lunch in there. His favorite part is the bumpy layer that lines the back of it, so as you walk with it, it feels like a little back massage. We've been using it a couple of months and it's holding up fine. Hopefully it will last.
Too many bells, July 29, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Lucky Bums Kid's Tracker Backpack (Sports) This is a nice backpack but it has too many zippers, straps, and tabs making it hard for me to figure out much less a kindergartner. I took the hip strap off to make it less confusing for him. The main selling point for my 5yr old was the whistle and we searched the entire bag inside and out and there is no whistle which made him very upset. I then decided to research on the LuckyBum site and found the whistle which is orange in color, intergraded on the sternum strap. The top orange/gray grab strap at the top hits him behind the neck and he complained about that but he loves camo so we are keeping it.
